The 1990 movie  Street Hawk was an action-packed adventure that aimed to capitalize on the popularity of high-tech vehicles and crime-fighting heroes of the 1980s and early 1990s. Though not as widely recognized as other action films of the era, Street Hawk  held a special place among fans of futuristic technology and fast-paced action. The movie was inspired by the short-lived but cult-favorite 1985 television series of the same name, which featured a state-of-the-art motorcycle capable of incredible speed and advanced combat abilities.

The story revolves around Jesse Mach, a former motorcycle cop who is recruited for a secret government project known as  Street Hawk. The project provides him with an advanced motorcycle, designed for high-speed chases and combat against criminals. After an accident left Mach unable to continue as a regular police officer, he is given a second chance to fight crime in a more advanced and unconventional way. Under the guidance of Norman Tuttle, the mastermind behind  Street Hawk, Jesse embarks on a mission to take down powerful criminal organizations, corrupt officials, and dangerous gangs. 

One of the most iconic elements of the movie is the  Street Hawk  motorcycle, a futuristic machine equipped with cutting-edge technology. It could reach speeds of up to 300 mph, had built-in weapons, and was equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance and communication systems. The bike was designed to give Jesse Mach an edge over criminals, allowing him to perform impossible stunts and escape dangerous situations. The concept was similar to other famous crime-fighting vehicles, such as KITT from Knight Rider and the Batmobile from Batman.
