Dhuwan, a 1994 PTV classic, remains one of the most iconic Pakistani dramas, known for its intense action sequences, emotional depth, and patriotic themes. Written by Ashir Azeem, who also played the lead role, Dhuwan captivated audiences with its gripping storytelling and realistic portrayal of law enforcement and counterterrorism operations. The drama quickly became a cult favorite and is still remembered as one of Pakistan’s finest action-thrillers.

The story revolves around Azhar, a young and idealistic civil servant who joins the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to make a difference in society. Unlike many conventional drama protagonists, Azhar is not involved in family disputes or romantic dilemmas; instead, he is dedicated to serving his country. As he dives deeper into his mission, he forms a team of five like-minded friends: Dawood, Naveed, Hameed, and Wajid.
