As a mother, I always want my children to study well. I do not have a big degree, but I have learned some simple ways at home that help my children to study better. Today I am sharing my 5 personal experiences with all mothers.
1. Create a Fixed Study Time a Daily Routine
Every child needs a proper routine. In our home, I made a small chart with my children. We wrote the time for playing, eating, and studying. Our study time is from 6 pm to 7 pm daily. When children know their routine, they never say no to study. This routine has made our life very easy and peaceful.
2. Create a Quiet Corner for Study
I saw that my children could not focus when TV was on. So I made a small study corner in our room. I cleaned a small table and placed two chairs there. During study time, we switch off the TV and mobile phones. I put all pencils and books in a small box. A quiet and clean place helps children to focus better.
3. Read Together Every Day
This is my most favorite point. Every night before sleeping, I read a storybook with my son for 15 minutes. Sometimes he reads and I listen. This not only improves his reading and English, but also increases our love and bonding. He now loves books.

4. Teach Through Games and Fun
Children learn faster when they play. I never force my children to memorize. I use bottle caps to teach counting and addition. I use color pencils to teach colors and spelling. We make small games with paper. When learning becomes a game, children never get bored and they remember for a long time.
5. Give Praise, Do Not Compare
This is the most important lesson I learned. I never compare my child with other children. Every child is different and special. Even for small achievements, like writing one new word, I say "MashAllah, well done". When we praise children, their confidence increases and they want to learn more. Love is more powerful than anger.
My Personal Experience as a Mother
My elder son did not like to study at all. He would cry every day at study time. I was very worried. Then I changed my method. I stopped shouting and started sitting with him with love. I also made some small rules in our home. No mobile phone during study time for everyone, including me and my husband. When father also sits with children, children feel very happy.
I also use things available at home for teaching. For example, I use dal and beans to teach counting. I use old newspapers to teach cutting and making crafts. We do not need expensive toys for learning.
Conclusion
In the end, I just want to say to all mothers that we do not need a big degree or a lot of money to teach our children. We only need love, some time, and a lot of patience. Every mother can be the best teacher for her children. If I can do it, you can also do it. Give them time, and they will give you good results, InshaAllah.
6. Some Extra Tips That Are Useful For Us
As parents, we all want our children to be successful. For this, we should not only focus on books but also on their overall growth. We should talk to them daily about what they learned in school. We should check their homework diary and help them if they have any difficulty. But we should never do their homework for them, we should only guide them.
Another useful tip is to make a small reward chart. You can make a chart on paper and put a star every time your child completes homework on time. At the end of the week, if they have five stars, give them a small gift or take them to the park. This will make them happy and they will try to study more regularly.
Also, try to keep a good connection with their teachers. Ask teachers about your child's progress. This will help you know where your child needs more help. When children see that their parents and teachers are both supporting them, they feel more confident and responsible.
InshaAllah, if we follow all these small steps with love and patience, our children will not only get good marks but will also become good and responsible human beings. Remember, every child is special and learns at their own pace. Our job is to support them, love them, and guide them gently every day.
The Role of Love and Duas in Children's Education
At the end, I want to say that books and homework are important, but love and duas are more important. When we teach our children with anger, they forget quickly. But when we teach them with love, smile and patience, they remember for a long time. Every mother should make dua for her children daily.
We should also teach our children to thank Allah after completing their studies. We should tell them that education is a blessing. When children study with a positive mindset, Allah also helps them.
My personal experience is that when I sit with my children and recite Bismillah before starting homework, they feel more focused and calm. Small Islamic habits like this bring barkat in their knowledge.
So, my dear sisters, do not worry if your child is slow today. Every child will grow with time. Just keep your routine, keep your love, and keep making small efforts daily. InshaAllah, one day you will see great results. Your children will not only be good in studies but will also respect you more because you supported them with so much love and patience.
In the end, I believe that every mother can become a good teacher for her children at home. With small daily efforts, love, and consistency, we can build a bright future for our children. May Allah help all mothers in this beautiful journey.
